Elena’s Garden of Colors
Elena sat on the soft grass of the garden, surrounded by humming bees and the sweet smell of jasmine. She held her thick crayon tightly, ready to capture the bright yellow sun. It was a perfect morning for making something beautiful.
But then, she saw another painting nearby. It had tiny petals and perfect green leaves that looked so real. Elena looked down at her own paper and felt a small tug in her chest. Her drawing was just big, wild splashes of color that didn't look like real flowers at all.
"I don't think mine is very good," she said softly. But Elena was brave, and she didn't hide her paper away. She took a big breath, stood up tall, and decided to show her messy, bright swirls of orange and red to the teacher anyway.
"Oh, Elena!" the teacher exclaimed with a smile. "That painting shows us exactly how the sun feels!" Elena looked at her work again and realized her bright colors were dancing, just like the warm light on the garden grass.
She realized that there wasn't just one way to be an artist. With a happy heart, she grabbed a purple crayon and added more bold lines. She was brave enough to be herself, and her garden of colors was the most beautiful sight of all.
