Flora and the Mountain Glow-Lily
High atop the Misty Mountains, where the air smelled of pine and cold stone, lived a young girl named Flora. One chilly morning, tucked between two jagged rocks, she found a tiny, silver seed that felt as cold as an icicle. "I will help you grow," she promised softly, her heart full of kindness for the little speck.
Every morning, Flora carried a heavy wooden bucket of spring water up the steep, winding path. The mountain wind tried to blow her back, but she held on tight. "Drink up, little seed," she would say, carefully pouring just enough water so the soil felt like a soft sponge.
Suddenly, a great storm rolled in with a boom of thunder! Flora knew her tiny seed might wash away, so she took off her own warm jacket to shield the dirt. "Don't be afraid," she huddle over the spot, shivering in the rain until the clouds finally parted.
Days passed until one morning, a tiny silver leaf poked through the dark earth. "You're here!" Flora cheered, her eyes wide with joy. The plant grew taller and taller, unfolding petals that didn't just bloom—they shimmered with a soft, magical light.
The Glow-Lily now lit up the mountain path for everyone to see at night. Flora realized that even the smallest seed can do big things if it has someone to care for it every single day. Her mountain home was never dark again.
